Due to some players logging a large number of books in one day, we have amended the competition to make it fairer for everyone. From now on, only 2 logged books per day will be made ''live'' on the website. Thank you and happy reading!
The Super Smash Reading Challenge is open to New Zealand residents aged between 5 and 14 years old only.
This website, The Super Smash Reading Challenge, is operated by Read NZ Te Pou Muramura (referred to as “Read NZ Te Pou Muramura/we/our/us”). As a user of the website (referred to as “you/your/user”) you acknowledge that any use of the website is subject to our terms and conditions below.
To be eligible for a prize in the Super Smash Reading Challenge, entrants must log the title and author of each book they read during the competition, along with a short statement about the book, and/or a star rating.
Read NZ Te Pou Muramura retains the right to randomly choose the winners of a ‘’spot prize’’ for every business day of the Super Smash cricket tournament, from those users who logged a book.
These prizes will include at least one Paper Plus Gift Card to the value of $30 awarded every business day of the Super Smash tournament, and one physical book prize per day of the Super Smash tournament, awarded at random.
All registered users of the Super Smash Reading Challenge website must supply an email address. Read NZ Te Pou Muramura retains the right to use this email address to notify winners of prizes won, and to arrange delivery by courier. Read NZ Te Pou Muramura retains the right to use these email addresses to contact players to advise of any changes to the competition.
Read NZ Te Pou Muramura accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.
Prizes are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and no exchanges will be made.
Read NZ Te Pou Muramura and NZ Cricket reserve the right to exchange the prize for another prize of equal or better value, in the event the prize is unavailable at the end of the competition.
Read NZ Te Pou Muramura retains the right to exclude members from competitions if we believe the Terms and Conditions have not been met.
All competition end dates, prize details, and any other terms and conditions will be included on the Super Smash Reading Challenge website.
Winners will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the competition closing.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
