Always a solid read from Lucinda Riley, and this Carry’s on the great storyline.
Not a bad wee fantasy story.
Travelling along in what I thought was a standard recent history romance, until the end. What a change. Refreshing upon reflection.
A beautiful and tragic story based on a two actual lives. The affects of life after one of the worlds most impacting bombings for two young people; a Japanese citizen and an Australian soldier. Written by their granddaughter. Well written. I’d watch the movie when they make it.
Not a bad ending, interesting twists and turns on the journey.
Sigh, perfection. Onto book 2. Detail without being overbearing, a very creative story, if you’re into fantastical ripe with mystery of where it will end up.
As interesting the ‘who done it theme’ is, the stories and structure are becoming tad too familiar and short. Could easily combine at least two books together rather than splitting; could allow for more depth
Good wee twists and turns, as the opal fields journey continues.
A continuation of the opal fields saga. A rather slow burn, but enough to keep reading for the development.
A decent ‘who done it’ Australian outback, opal mystery. Leads well into the next saga.
A good ending to another Trilogy.
A continuation from the witch hunts. A good journey and interesting twist set up for the final book.
Modern day fantasy based around the historical witch hunts
Great historical novel based on the actual ‘Witches of the Night’ Russian airwoman during WWII.
It does not get predictable. Frustration that it finishes on the possibility opening for another saga; I hate waiting!
Certainly caught my attention. Very well written, nothing status quo about this one; onto it sequel!
Started off as a regular de rice who done it novel, fairly status quo. Then the storyline and plot certainly thickened. A great build and twists this cynical reader was not expecting. Worth the read.
A refreshing contemporary fiction full of recent history moments.
A good finish for the trilogy.
The trilogy continues, with similar but enjoyable structure Jeff Wheeler has.
Fab mystical with hints of historical fact, my default theme of literature.
