  • After Dark

    By Minka Kent
    4 stars

Mika Kent is amazing! I was on the edge of my seat, trying to guess what was coming next. Full of twists and turns, this a great read!

  • Broken Bayou

    By Jennifer Moorhead
    4 stars

I found the main character irritating at times, but the story still held my attention. A worthwhile read.

  • No Exit

    By Taylor Adams
    4 stars

Great action read! Some interesting twists and turns. It was a definite page-turner.

  • Credence

    By Penelope Douglas
    3 stars

Some trigger warnings - there is a link to the author's website to see what they are. I found the main character indulgent and slightly annoying. I actually struggled with most of the characters. I did keep reading though, so it couldn't have been that bad...

  • Ask for Andrea

    By Noelle Ihli
    4 stars

Written from a different perspective than your usual thriller, it makes you really hate the protagonist! You'll wish for his demise, just like I did.

  • Wish You Were Here

    By Jodi Picoult
    4 stars

Jodi Picoult's reserach always amazes me! As does her story-telling ability and her writing style. She makes ordinary prose sound like poetry. Great tale - a little bit love story, a little bit self-discovery. Set in pandemic times, peppered with some esoteric bits, and backed by medical facts to boot.

  • Broken Things

    By Jodi Picoult
    4 stars

A short story which is really a prequel to Wish You Were Here. True Jodi Picoult fare - need I say more?

  • Missing Daughter

    By Kiersten Modglin
    4 stars

Mind games aplenty! I initially found it a little difficult to connect with the main character. Infuriating in places. A page turner for sure.

  • Run on Red

    By Noelle W. Ihli
    4 stars

Like a fast-paced thriller movie, albeit a little predictable in parts. I couldn't put it down.

  • The Girl from the Sea

    By Shalini Boland
    4 stars

Kept me guessing to the end, with an unexpected twist!

  • The Echo Man

  • Unmissing

    By Minka Kent
    4 stars

I love Minka Kent's easy, fast-moving writing style. This is not the first book of hers that I have read. I was gasping at every turn in this one. Keeps you on the edge of your seat every time!

  • The Overnight Guest

    By Heather Gudenkauf
    4 stars

Really good thriller! Has kept me turning the pages, for sure.
