This book discusses the complexities of a binary sports world (male /female competition) in the gender fluid society that we have today. It is an interesting read and focusses on the situation in the USA.
A Memoir of the late FRIENDS actor Matthew Perry who played Chandler Bing. It is pretty 'straight up' and a reminder that not all dreams are going to serve us well in the complicated reality of LIFE. I can't believe that he used to rifle through bathroom medicine cabinets for painkillers etc when he looked at open homes.
Pretty hard going but it gives background stories and an overview of a whole selection of traditional Maori games and activities. I will have to re-read parts again for better understanding but greater awareness has been a start.
