What a different crime novel. Shades of ‘the dry’
A delicious retelling of sleeping beauty - told from the creature who keeps her sleeping to keep us safe. Delightfully creepy.
This is a delight. Slightly scary. A spooky mix of magic and myth. It’s also very funny in parts. I love Bonedog.
Sweet predicable and heartwarming family saga.
Interesting memoir. About leaving a cult and the hold that early childhood can have on a life.
Fab new Karen Pirie. Interesting crime novel set in Covid times.
Joyous reimaging of a lost history. A reminder about the importance of words
A ghost story. A love story. A life story. A book about books and reading and how they can impact your life.
Wow. I really didn’t know anything about Hercules. This was a fantastic introduction to this flawed hero. Interesting tie in with Percy Jackson - and another novel in my stack.
Excellent addition to one of my fav series. The underlying theme was life affirming. Percy is as wry as ever.
What fun. Clever palindromes the whole way thru.
Interesting historical novel. I still don’t understand how the travelling illusion works.
