Quick and easy series of books to read, good mixture of fantasy, adventure & mystery. Reading to take a break from my other series. The type of book you can read in a day.

  • Reaper's Gale- Book 6 of A tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen

    By Steven Erikson
    5 stars

Book 6 of 10 from The Malazan Book of the Fallen series. I previously read the whole series but "audio-booked" from books 8-10 and it wasn't satisfying so reading the actual books again. Had to start back from book 6 because there is so much that goes on and I need to refresh my memory. Best long series I have ever read- move over Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Game of Thrones etc- The Malazan Book Of The Fallen has it all. Plus heaps of side novels to keep you going once you've finished the series, or read along side if you want to read it chronologically (which kind of isn't actually possible, but you'll work it out). If you love epic fantasy- this is the way to go.

An easy read-in-a-day book. Reminded me of a mix between Neil Gaiman's The Sandman & Roald Dahl 's The BFG.
