    Loved this. Was a bit all over the place, but the more you read, it started to come clear. Another well written by Jodi. Halfway through, it become the, 'I can't put this down' type read.

    Historical fiction. Vikings and Normans and early English life. Even though it is fiction, you could see how this could be real life back in 997 AD. Absolutely loved it. This is the prequel to The Pillars of the Earth.
