She crafts a credible story which is true to the biblical narrative and gives you a sense of what it could have been like to have lived in those times. This book is the first in a series called "Covenant House" and holds your interest both at a national level in the issues of the ancient world in the Middle East as well at a personal family level.

This novel is the 4th in the Cities of Refuge Series and I really enjoyed it despite not having yet read the 3rd book in the series. This book continues the theme of strong independent women and men overcoming both physical and emotional trauma.

    This is book 3 in the series and I enjoyed reading it. I felt like I knew the characters after reading the first two books. The jury is out for me as to whether it realistically represents modern life as a rescue person in modern day Alaska but I enjoyed the story. Looking forward to read book 4

    This is a good holiday read with drama, romance, faith set in contemporary Alaska. It took a while for me to get into this book but it became an acquired taste and I have read two more books in the series and am waiting for the fourth one!
