It hurts to read. Aches, because it is a good reminder of what it happening behind some doors. Becky has done a great job of incorporating NZ culture into it. Does have sex, drugs and violence in it so wouldn't recommend for school readings. Would definitely recommend for teachers to read as a reminder.

A well written book that makes you feel like you’re in the story. Janna does a good job of capturing what it was like to be in your early 20s and at university during the pandemic. There is also a lot of exploration around grief from the Canterbury earth quakes and how it affects everyone. She has strong female charecters as well. Would read with a high level of high school.
