Loved this book. Government worker is offered a chance to mind a time traveller from the past - naval office Graeme Gore, a hero from a doomed marine trip to the Artic mid 1800s. Romance blooms between the unlikely pair, as they work through the features of modern day vs days of yore. Very readable, loved the characters. Best quote - “He lives in me like trauma does. If you ever fall in love, you’ll be a person who was in love for the rest of your life.”

The prose in this book is outstanding. “Yes, people age horribly. They suffer strokes. Their bodies and brains fall apart. But the male ego? Firmly intact until the bitter end.” I was laughing every 2nd page. On my 2nd reading it's so good.
