Not as good as I was hoping. Violet’s lack of control with her signet is getting pretty boring and it felt like the book needed way better editing. Jumping from first name to surname with characters which hasn’t been done in previous books made it hard to keep up. The second half was better than the first

Loving this series. Great character development and world building

  • The sins of Silas

Sequel in octacian series and it was a bit underwhelming. Some over the top graphic scenes which I had to skim. The were some good chapters but a bit of a let down as a sequel

  • The lies of Lena

First book from the octacian series. Got through it in two days, great combo of romance and fantasy

DNF. Western book where MFC falls for her ex boyfriend’s dad and ends up living at his ranch for work experience after a road closure leaves her stranded for a few weeks . Just got a bit repetitive

  • The Kingdom of Flames and Ash

The third book in the fated to darkness trilogy. Felt a bit dragged out and it was one focal point of rescuing Lira’s sister for the entire book which got boring and then when they finally rescued her the ending felt rushed and anticlimactic. I preferred the first two books

  • Zodiac Academy: Fated Throne

    By Caroline Peckham
    3 stars

Sixth book in zodiac serie, found myself skimming through some of it as it felt like filler chapters that elaborated on situations for too long. The banter was much better in this book and it was nice for it to end with not such a frustrating outcome for the heroes. Will be continuing to the next book!

  • Zodiac Academy Cursed Fates

5th book in the zodiac series. Unlike its previous books it felt like it had a lot of filler chapters without the banter that I’ve enjoyed. The ending cliffhanger made me want to continue the series but I’m hoping for better banter in the next one!
