Used this book for easy reference of lots of NZ's native trees while walking one of NZ's great walks.
I loved this book - it was my favourite read of the summer! Tama is a magpie who has fallen out of his nest and is rescued by Marnie. Tama observes the strained family dynamics around him and mimics many conversations.
This book starts with Sally Diamond having thrown her recently deceased adopted dad’s remains into an incinerator because she has mistaken his instructions on how he would like to be buried. Sally Diamond is neurodiverse, sees the world differently and has a past to uncover. I loved the book and found it a compelling read.
This is an easy memoir to read where Sam Neill writes conversationally about his early life, his life as an actor and his opportunities.
An amusing, easy read. Hera reminds me of Bridget Jones!
A story about friendship and video games.
I loved this story about the Padavano family. It was beautifully written.
An epic based around a family in Kerala, India. I really enjoyed listening to this story read by Abraham Verghese.
