Intriguing, great fantasy novel with lots of action.

  • Notes from a Small Island

    By Bill Bryson

Great look at the idiosyncracies of British culture. I really enjoyed laughing about all the weird stuff from my childhood that sounds so funny when viewed from the eyes of an outsider. Quite an old fashioned book now and some of the comments might not make it into a book today.

  • Iron Flame

    By Rebecca Yarros
    4 stars

I enjoyed this second book in the series but as ever, never as good as the first. The romance got too much but the dragons were still epic.

  • Fourth Wing

    By Rebecca Yarros

Dragons, magic, intrigue, betrayal, an underdog, war, love: classic fantasy novel. Read it in 3 days - couldn't put it down. Onto to the next one in the series now even though the last 3 books in the series have not been written yet! This better not be another George R R Martin type situation.

  • Everything is beautiful and everything hurts

    By Josie Shapiro

Compelling narrative - I was invested. Made me want to run!!

  • Potiki

    By Patricia Grace

    Beautiful, sad but enlightening read

  • Who they was

Interesting. Challenging language using a lot of slang but eye opening insight into growing up in London estate culture
