Seven people wake up in a remote mansion. The doors are all locked. They have no idea where they are. Who brought them there. Or how to escape. Each knew the victims of a dreadful crime committed four years earlier but that's all that links them. Another great thriller from this writer!
Following the fall of Baghdad, two Iraqi boys stumble upon armed men looting the city zoo. The floodgates have been opened for the smuggling of hundreds of exotic birds, mammals, and reptiles to Western nations, but this crime hides a deeper secret. Amid a hail of bullets, a concealed underground weapons lab is ransacked--and something even more horrific is set free.
An interesting read about the end of the world so to speak and the last remaining humans living in Antarctica.
Five couples go to a tropical island for a reality show and discover it's not what is seems and then things really start to happen. A good thriller with a few twist and turns along the way.
Twenty-six-year-old Rory rarely leaves her apartment, though her little dog Buster keeps her company. Days are spent working for her aunt's PI business, and watching and imagining histories for the homeless men, the Dossers, across the road. At night she walks Buster on the roof, gazes at the stars and wonders. The night before New Year's Eve, one of the Dossers is murdered, an incident which brings the world in. I really enjoyed this book and the way the characters were written. A great little thriller.
