In late eighteenth century France, the destinies of six unforgettable women whose paths cross during the most challenging events of the French Revolution, all must make difficult choices to survive. They are all persecuted for being too political, too intelligent, too opinionated, too daring, too pretty. A well written novel by six bestselling authors.
This is a story for reluctant readers, ages 11+, who would enjoy reading adventure or survival stories. The two main characters, cousins, learn to support each other in the New Zealand wilderness. The story is about whanau and connection to whakapapa and tikanga . I enjoyed the read,
People thinking about wanting to change something in their life should read this. Instead of setting goals, the idea is to set a habit, time and location of when you will do this habit. Also it looks at 'stacking habits' which means after establishing one habit you may add another habit e.g. Walk every morning at 6am, for 10 minutes, followed by a healthy shake. A good, easy read. Reflective.
