  • Dark Matter

    By Blake Crouch

Safe to say that I loved this despite being confused at times. Another book I am reading post seeing the Netflix series of the same name. Blake Crouch really is a master of writing intriguing science fiction. It is certainly written for the screen, so I am not surprised I saw it on Netflix before discovering th ebook.

  • The Wave

    By Morton Rhue
    5 stars

Based on a true story, this novel describes a history experiment gone wrong. A frightening reminder of how easy it is for people to be brainwashed into becoming something they would never support otherwise - The Nazis and Facism.

  • Night

    By Elie Wiesel

Although it's a hard read, it's a necessary one. This is an unflinching account of one man's experience of the Holocaust. It's a story of survival, loss, and hope.

  • The Three-Body Problem

    By Cixin Liu
    5 stars

An excellent Science Fiction novel, I was drawn to this book after watching the first instalment of the Netflix series. Set against the backdrop of the cultural revolution in China, this story combines science, politics, and philosophy to explore societal fears about the future and our contribution to global warming and ecological disaster.
