Loved this so much - a great story and easy to relate to.

  • The Room of the Dead

    By MRC Kasasian
    0 stars

This is as silly but addictive as the first one. Loved it and will read more in the series.

  • The Bomb Girls Secrets

    By Daisy Styles
    0 stars

It was a fairly formulaic story about girls during World War Two, however, it was enjoyable.

  • Cold Cold Bones

    By Kathy Reichs
    0 stars

A fairly predictable outcome which was a bit disappointing

  • I know a secret

This is the 16th book in the series and is just as good as the others.

  • First Blood

    By Angela Marsons
    5 stars

This story is part of the Detective Kim Stone series - I really enjoyed it. Marsons is a great writer and I often find myself working hard to figure out "whodunnit"

  • Hard Times for the East End Library Girls

    By Patricia McBride
    3 stars

This is the second book in a series and I enjoyed it. It was a quiet gentle books but didn't have much development in it. I can't get the third and final book in the series so not sure what to do!!

  • The Bookshop Detective

    By Gareth and Louise Ward
    5 stars

Fabulous book set in Havelock North. It was fun and relateable.

  • The Crow Trap

    By Ann Cleeves

I am a big fan of the Vera television series and was reluctant to read the books but so far I am enjoying them. My imagination has Vera just as she appears on television.

  • For our Sins

    By James Oswald
    0 stars

I have really enjoyed this series of books. The next one is due out early next year and I am looking forward to it. Detective series with a supernatural twist.

  • Betty Church and the Suffolk Vampire

    By MRC Kasasian
    4 stars

One of the characters in this book irritates the hell out of me but I cannot stop reading it!

  • Any Means Necessary

    By Jack Mars

This is not my usual choice of novel, I tend to avoid the "someone has to save the world" type of text. I enjoyed not knowing who the bad guys were until toward the end. I will consider the second in the series.
